National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination

Overview

Examination will be held twice a year

Notification of Examination likely in	October - Novermber & April - May
Conduct of Examination	April - May & September - Oct

Qualifications

Age - Limit : 16-1/2 - 19 Years

Educational Qualification :

For Army Wing of NDA	12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education, or equivalent.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at Naval Academy	12 th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school Education with Physics and Mathematics, or equivalent

Note : Candidates appearing at the 12th Class Examination are also eligible to compete. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the 12th Class Examination by a date to be specified in the Commission’s Notice for the Examination.

Scheme of Examination

1. Mathematics (Objective type)	300 Marks
2. General Ability Test (Objective type)	600 Marks
Total	900 Marks

Marks of SSB Interviews	900 Marks
